If you have a question about your details, you reach the same people as when you book a table.

If you fill in the contact form

You give us your name, your email address and your message. You may add a phone number, a number of people, a date or a time, but you do not have to. We use those details to answer your question and for nothing else.

The message arrives as an email in our own mailbox. Sending goes through Resend, a service that delivers email and briefly processes the message to do so. We keep your message for as long as your question is open, and after that in our mailbox until we clear it out. The legal basis is your request itself: you ask us something, and we need your details to be able to answer.

If you book a table

The booking screen on our site is GoTable’s, the reservation system we work with. What you fill in there — your name, your contact details, the number of people, the time and any remarks about an allergy or an occasion — ends up in that system and goes onto our reservation list. We use it to have your table ready and to reach you if anything changes. GoTable processes those details on our instructions.

If you call or email us yourself

Then we keep what you tell us, as far as that is needed to help you. We do not record telephone calls.

Measuring how the website is used

We want to know which pages are read and where people drop off, so the site gets better. For that we use Google Analytics, which is loaded through Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity, which anonymously records how people scroll and click on a page.

This only happens if you give your permission in the cookie notice. If you do not, none of it is loaded and nothing is measured. You can always change your choice with the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page.

Hosting and fonts

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server it briefly records which page was requested when, with the IP address; that is needed to keep the site working and to prevent abuse. The fonts are stored on that same server; no connection is made to Google or any other party to load them.

Who we share your details with

Only with the services listed above that work for us: Resend for sending form messages, GoTable for reservations, Vercel for the website, and Google and Microsoft for the measurement you gave permission for. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.

How long we keep details

No longer than necessary. A message from the contact form we keep for as long as the question is open, and after that in our mailbox. Reservations stay in the reservation system. Measurement data stays with the measurement services according to their own retention periods; those are in the cookie statement.

What you may ask of us

You may ask us which details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, and you may object to their use. Send a message to info@mejjanssenarnhem.nl

We respond within a month. If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

Our website runs over a secure connection, the mailbox is protected with a password, and only the people who have to handle your question can get to it.

Changes

If something changes about the website or the services we use, we update this statement. At the top you can see when that last happened.
