Mej. Janssen is a convivial café-restaurant, and a relaxed place for a good glass of wine. You will find us on the Duizelsteeg, in the little alley behind the Korenmarkt in the centre of Arnhem.
Our wines come from France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Chile and South Africa, among others. Red, white, rosé or something sparkling? Much of the list is poured by the glass; the rest you order by the bottle.

Can I order wine by the glass?
Yes. We pour more than ten of our wines by the glass, from cava and chardonnay to a Valpolicella Ripasso. There is also a changing Vin du Moment.
Which wine goes with my dish?
Just ask. Our staff are happy to recommend a wine or a beer for the dish you choose.
Do you hold wine tastings?
No, we no longer hold wine tastings or high wine. You are of course very welcome to try a few wines by the glass with your meal.
Do you have alcohol-free drinks?
Yes. Swinckels’ 0.0% on tap and in bottles, and the alcohol-free Trappists La Trappe Epos and Nillis.
When are you open?
Tuesday to Sunday from 5 pm to 10 pm. We are closed on Mondays.
Can I park at the restaurant?
No. We are on the Duizelsteeg in the low-traffic centre, right by the Korenmarkt. You can park in one of the car parks nearby: the Blauwe Golven car park on the Nieuwe Plein, the Arnhem-Centraal car park on the Stationsplein or the Rozet car park on the Langstraat. All three are some 230 to 300 metres away, a few minutes on foot.
